Positioned in the booming downtown district of Alaska's most industrialized city, the Anchorage Grand Hotel was originally built in 1950. The hotel underwent a complete interior renovation in 2000, transforming the property into one of Anchorage's most convenient extended stay accomodations, near the Alaska Railroad Depot.

From Ted Stevens international Airport (ANC):
Take International Airport Road east for 3 miles.
Turn left on Arctic Avenue and continue for 10 miles.
Arctic Avenue turns into E street after 9th Avenue.
Turn left on 2nd Avenue, downtown.
The hotel is on the right.
