Location. The 22 acre Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort Scottsdale is located less than two miles from Fashion Square Mall and Old Town Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art stands two miles away.
Hotel Features. This resort was designed by students of Frank Lloyd Wright. The hotel features a concrete exterior and a labeled cactus garden that occupies a mountain view courtyard. The enFuego restaurant serves regionally inspired cuisine and features a waterfall fountain and an outside patio with fountains and a central fireplace. The Palm Café serves Starbucks coffee and breakfast fare. The Cabana Bar is located at the north pool and prepares light sandwiches, salads and beverages. Loggia Lounge offers wines, imported and microbrewed beers, single malt scotch, small batch bourbons, specialty vodkas and tequilas. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. A fitness room contains television mounted cardiovascular equipment, weight training machines, yoga balls and free weights, and offers the services of personal trainers. Fees apply for fitness room amenities. The resort offers one activity pool, one quiet pool, and one tennis court. Bicycles may be rented for use at the nearby 15 mile Scottsdale Greenbelt.

Guestrooms. This two story resort offers 378 guestrooms decorated in Southwestern style and features beamed ceilings. Sweet Dreams beds include pillowtop mattresses, down comforters and a selection of pillows. Rooms are outfitted with minibars and coffeemakers. In room safes are laptop compatible. High speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee.

Expert Tip. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to the Scottsdale Waterfront, one mile away. The Scottsdale Waterfront features shops, restaurants and art galleries. This water themed development includes a 55 foot waterfall, trolley service and a pedestrian foot bridge that leads to the Scottsdale Fashion Square.
