The Grand Hotel Europa is housed in a traditional Austrian building dating from 1869, located in the centre of Innsbruck, opposite the train station. The 122 guestrooms over five floors have ornate traditional decor and furnishings and are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, high speed wireless Internet connections (surcharge), direct dial phones, minibars, safes and complimentary bottled water. Bathrooms come with shower/tub combinations, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries.

Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide around the clock room service, exchange currency, store valuables in the safe deposit box, arrange babysitting and dry cleaning services and offer advice on local sights and attractions. The hotel is connected to the main railway station opposite by a tunnel for the exclusive use of guests. During the winter season, guests benefit from a complimentary shuttle bus to the ski slopes. Innsbruck Old Town is one kilometre from the hotel, as is the Bergisel Ski Jump. Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport is three kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of ten minutes.

Driving Directions

Buses run from the airport to Innsbruck city centre and the main train station every 15 minutes. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and the fare to the hotel is typically 15 EUR. The train station is opposite the hotel and can be accessed via a tunnel exclusively for the use of hotel guests.
