Location. The Grand Spa Resort A Rosa is located in Kitzbühel, Austria, within one kilometre of Kitzbühel town centre and the ski lifts, and 1.5 kilometres from Hahenkamm mountain.
Hotel Features. The hotel is housed in a Tyrolean castle style building with a spa and nine hole golf course. The spa offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Zen vitality and aqua gym facilities, and health coaching by professional staff. The kids' club Rosini operates all year.

The Grand Spa Resort has three restaurants; Streif is furnished in a contemporary style and offers an international buffet, Kaps offers an à la carte menu and has a traditional Tyrolean interior, and the restaurant Golfhaus has an open fire and serves Austrian specialities. The Market Place bar has a terrace with views of the Alps. A complimentary breakfast buffet is available. The half board rate includes buffet breakfast and dinner, a selection of soft drinks, mineral water, and afternoon coffee and juices.

The hotel offers five event rooms accommodating up to 200 delegates.

In winter, hotel guests can enjoy snow based activities including skiing, snowboarding and ice skating. In summer, the mountains can be enjoyed on foot or by mountain bike. Excursions can be arranged.

Guestrooms. All 150 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in soft neutral colours with contemporary furniture including desks. Bathrooms provide bathrobes and slippers. Guestrooms are equipped with satellite television, telephones, and wireless Internet (surcharge). Further amenities include minibars and safes. A half board rate is available.

Expert Tip. The Hinterobenau Farmhouse Museum outside Kitzbühel is well worth a visit. A 500 year old detached farmhouse, built in typical Salzburg Tyrolean style, has been furnished as it would have been 100 years ago, to show how people lived and worked at that time.

Driving Directions

From Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC):
Distance to Grand Spa Resort A Rosa is 175 kilometres, approximately 110 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The airport's train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 and S1 S Bahn trains leave every 20 minutes for Munich's main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is about 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. The Lufthansa Airport bus runs to the Hauptbahnhof every 20 minutes, and the single fare is 9.50 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost around 55 EUR 65 EUR. From Munich railway station, there is a train to Kitzbühel, either direct or change in Woergl. The hotel arranges complimentary pick up from Kitzbühel train station. A taxi from the airport to the hotel is 240 EUR. The hotel offers airport transfers (surcharge). Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Kitzbühel can easily be explored on foot. There are shuttle services to the different skiing stations. For trips further afield, public transport is available.

Driving directions. From Munich airport, take motorway towards Salzburg.
Take Inntal motorway towards Innsbruck.
Exit motorway at junction Kufstein Sued.
Take B178 towards St Johann.
At St Johann, take B161 to Kitzbuehel.
At the first roundabout, turn left at the tennis centre.
Follow the road up the hill to the resort.
