Newly opened in 2005, the Hotel Harmony is housed in a building that dates back to 1859 and situated in the centre of Ghent, 100 metres from the folk museum. The 24 air conditioned guestrooms have contemporary decor in contrasting black and white, with quilted burgundy bed fabrics and innovatively designed lighting features, modern style window blinds, and green plant decorations. All include satellite television, minibars, wireless Internet, and bathrooms with hair dryers and slippers.
Guests can start the day with a continental breakfast in the dining room or on the garden terrace. The hotel's lounge serves drinks and cocktails as well as a selection of hors d'Oeuvres, and guests relax in armchairs and sofas. Wine tasting with the sommelier is available on request. The hotel also has facilities for small business meetings and social functions. Audiovisual facilities are available for presentations upon request, and indoor parking is provided for those arriving by car (reservation necessary). Numerous bars, restaurants and historical attractions can be found in the surrounding city centre, and the SMAK museum of modern art is four kilometres away. Brussels Airport is 60 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 50 minutes.

Driving Directions

The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. A train travels directly to Ghent Sint Pieters station, five kilometres from the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport take the E 40 to Ghent. Take the exit to Ghent Centrum. After 500 metres turn right at Zuidstationstraat, continue and turn right at the roundabout on to Sint Annaplein. At the next roundabout, take the fourth exit, Keizer Karelstraat. Pass Sint Jacobsnieuwstraat and de vlasmakt and at the roundabout, take the third exit, Ottogracht. Pass Kromem wal and sluizeken. At the roundabout, take the left exit to Grauwstraat and follow the tram rails. Go through the lange steenstraat and go past the castle.
