Location. Built in the 1940's in Miami Beach, Fla., the 14 story Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront reopened its doors in early 2004 after a complete renovation designed to restore its original style and architecture. The hotel sits directly on the oceanfront, one and one half miles north of the Miami Beach Convention Center and two miles from South Beach and the city's Art Deco Historic District. MTV Latin America is one mile away, while Billboard Music Group is two miles from the property.
Hotel Features. The luminous, ivory colored lobby of the Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront features espresso furnishings set against blue and green patterned carpeting. The Courtyard Café serves American fare a la carte and for their daily buffet style breakfasts. Carrabba's Italian Grille provides dinner and room service. Open for lunch and dinner overlooking the Atlantic, the hotel's Tiki Bar is a happy hour favorite. Enjoy a variety of delicious libations, great appetizers and sandwiches while soaking up the tropical ambiance. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, grab and go at the Marketplace before your meeting or before hitting the beach. Open 24 hours, the Marketplace offers beverages, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, cookies and various sundries. The hotel's business center offers computers, printers and complimentary wireless Internet access. A large sundeck houses an outdoor pool, spa tub and poolside bar. Spa services are available in poolside cabanas (weekends only and must be requested). Exercise equipment is available in the fitness room on the third floor.

Guestrooms. The 14 story Courtyard by Miami Beach Oceanfront offers 263 guestrooms, most with city views. Standard amenities include cable television, pay movies, video game consoles and complimentary high speed Internet. Smoking is not permitted inside Courtyard by Marriott guestrooms. Coffeemakers are provided in each room. Bathrooms feature granite countertops, curved shower rods and designer toiletries.

Expert Tip. The Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront's Tiki Restaurant sits immediately outside on the historic Miami Beach Boardwalk. The restaurant offers lunch with a menu available late into the night and is one of the few that are connected to the miles long boardwalk.

From Miami International Airport:
Approximate distance to the hotel is 8.1 miles.

Take I 195 East and cross over Biscayne Bay toward Miami Beach and turn left.
I 195 becomes 41st Street/Arthur Godfrey Road.
Turn right onto Indian Creek Drive and move into the far left lane.
Turn left onto 39th Street.
Turn left onto Collins Avenue.
