Location. The Africa themed Sheraton Safari Hotel Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, Fla., is two miles from downtown Disney. The hotel is within four miles of SeaWorld Orlando, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. Complimentary shuttle service is available to Downtown Disney and Disney theme parks.

The Sheraton Safari Hotel Lake Buena Vista presents unusual hotel offerings like an alligator in a glass case, a macaw on a stand and African artworks and handicrafts displayed throughout the lobby. The hotel features an impressive water complex where a 79 foot python shaped slide begins at the top of a rock formation. Sliders fall through the python's tunnel like body and splash down beneath its huge head. The complex also includes a large pool, a 12 foot diameter children's pool and a spa tub in a secluded tropical garden. Other garden features include a shaded playground and a wooden bridge over a goldfish pond. The Zanzibar Lounge serves lunch and dinner inside or outside in a thatched roof gazebo.
