Location. Park Hotel Suisse is located in Chamonix, France, on the lower slopes of Mont Blanc, 500 metres from the Aiguille du Midi Cable Car.
Hotel Features. This five storey Alpine chalet hotel has a rooftop terrace with a heated swimming pool, and there is also a sauna and a solarium. Wireless Internet access and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby. Ski storage is offered, and there is garage parking available for a surcharge.

Restaurant La Manti serves regional specialities and French dishes in a traditional setting with an open fire and a terrace for al fresco dining in the summer. A complimentary American buffet breakfast is provided. The half board rate includes breakfast and dinner.

The skiing and snowboarding areas of Brevent/Flegere, the Grands Montets, and Balme are all accessible from Chamonix and there is a complimentary shuttle bus to the ski lifts which departs 50 metres from the hotel. The French ski school, ESF, has a desk in the hotel. In summer, hiking, mountaineering, and mountain biking are all offered.

Guestrooms. The 66 Alpine style guestrooms have bright, warm decor, with wood panelling and modern furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, wireless Internet access, minibars, and safes. The hotel offers a half board rate.

Expert Tip. The Aiguille du Midi cable car, 4.5 kilometres from the hotel, makes a spectacular climb to 3,842 metres, suspended 500 metres from the ground in places. The views from the top of the Aiguille across Mont Blanc are unsurpassed.

Driving Directions

From Geneva International Airport (GVA):
Distance to Park Hotel Suisse is 80 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Guests can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel; the fare should be approximately 200 EUR. Aero Ski Bus provides services to many of the French ski stations, and buses to Chamonix depart from the airport's lower level bus station.

Getting around. Chamonix can be explored easily on foot, and Chamonix Mont Blanc railway station is 600 metres from the hotel. A car is recommended for travelling further afield in the region.
