Location. Offering ski in ski out access to the French Alps' Courchevel 1850 resort, the Hotel des Trois Vallees is built in the typical Alpine style of pine wood and stone, and is set only 100 metres from the nearest ski lift and La Croisette resort centre. Lyon Saint Exupery (Satolas) Airport is 200 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Guests can store their equipment on site, and relax in the wellness centre, which includes a sauna, steam room and massage rooms, and offers treatments using Kanebo products. There is also a fitness room featuring cardiovascular and free weight machines, as well as complimentary access to the indoor swimming pool at a nearby hotel. Those arriving by car can make use of the hotel's garage parking facilities, available for a surcharge.

Hotel des Trois Vallees houses an elaborately decorated, traditional restaurant which serves typical European cuisine with a modern touch.

The hotel is located 100 metres from the nearest ski lift in the resort of Courchevel 1850, part of the Three Valleys ski area. The resort is located at an altitude of 1850 metres and features 117 ski runs, covering a total distance of 115 kilometres. Access to the slopes is only permitted with a valid ski pass, which can be purchased at through the local tourist office. All levels of skier are catered for and the nearest ski school is 100 metres away. A total of four cross country skiing trails surround the resort, ranging in length from 2.5 kilometres to 15 kilometres.

Guestrooms. The hotel features 30 guestrooms, spread over five floors, all of which open onto balconies offering views of the surrounding mountains or village. All have contemporary Alpine decor, wood panelled walls, bold fabrics, and pine and upholstered furnishings, with flat screen satellite television, DVD players, wireless Internet connections and minibars. Bathrooms have hair dryers, bathrobes and slippers. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.

Driving Directions

Getting there. Trains run from the Lyon Saint Exupery (Satolas) Airport TGV station and serve many national French destinations. A taxi rank is located in front of Terminal One, level one. A taxi desk is also located on level one in the central hall. Rail services operate between Lyon and Moutiers, the nearest station to the resort. From there, frequent ski bus services run to Courchevel 1850. Geneva Airport railway station is 300 metres from the Departures and Arrivals floors; trains stop at Geneva Cornavin (city centre) and run every 20 minutes. Aero Ski Bus also provides services from Geneva Airport to many of the French ski stations.
Driving directions: From Lyon follow signs for Albertville via the E70 and A43 motorways. Near Albertville, change onto the N90 towards Moutiers, and then take the D915 to Courchevel from Moutiers.
