Location. The Clarion Hotel Aston stands two blocks from Vieux Nice, and three blocks from the beach in Nice, France.
Hotel Features. Built in 1928, this hotel overlooks the gardens and fountains of Espace Masséna park. The property was renovated in 2004, but retains much of its original Art Deco spirit. The lobby reflects minimalist décor with mahogany paneling and unframed impressionist style oil paintings. L'Horloge offers fine dining with mezzanine and terrace seating. An extensive wine list and traditional French dishes are served. The semi formal Phileas affords views of Vieux Nice and prepares international dishes. Rustic stone arches contrast with a circular balcony at the Aston Cup, where breakfast items are offered. The seasonal Rooftop Bar prepares poolside drinks, snacks and salads. A computer station offers high speed Internet access and print services. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Guestrooms. This eight story hotel offers 155 air conditioned guestrooms equipped with wireless Internet access. Tri fold mirrors, flanked by vertical lights, are mounted above marble topped desks. Bedside tables and minibar cabinets also feature marble tops. Bedside panels control lighting. Marble tiled bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations, marble or granite vanities and dual voltage outlets. Room décor includes moss green color schemes that create soothing ambience.

Expert Tip. The Promenade des Anglais, located three blocks from the hotel, offers wide sidewalks that border the beach. The Promenade is a favorite destination of joggers, hikers and in line skaters.
