Location. Hotel de France et Vauban is located in the village of Pontorson which lies eight kilometres inland from the seaside resort of Mont St Michel.
Hotel Features. Set in gardens, this three storey hotel has two buildings. One is a typical French town house dating from 1898, the other was built in 2006. The front desk can provide express check in and check out and complimentary parking is available nearby.

The Hotel de France et Vauban's L'Orson Bridge Café serves traditional local specialities in a room that combines rustic style with contemporary furnishings. There is a garden terrace for al fresco dining when the weather is fine. Breakfast is available for a surcharge.

Guestrooms. The 38 guestrooms are decorated in muted tones and have modern furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, complimentary Internet connections and hair dryers.

Getting there. Taxis are available at the airport. Pontorson Railway Station is 100 metres from the hotel.

Getting around. The best way to see the surrounding countryside is to hire a car.
