Getting there. The S Bahn's line 5 runs between the airport's train station and Hannover central station. Trains depart every 30 minutes between 5 a.m. and midnight. The journey takes about 15 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 2.40 EUR. From here trains run to Bad Harzburg. Take a bus from Bad Harzburg to Braunlage. Taxis are also available.

Getting around. The best way to see the surrounding area is by car.
