Location. The pentahotel Gera is located in the centre of Gera, Germany. The Otto Dix Museum and National History Museum are one kilometre away, and Chemnitz is at a 72 kilometre distance. The bus and tram stations are 50 metres from the hotel, and the train station is one kilometre distance.
Hotel Features. Set in the Untermhaus, the city's historic area, the pentahotel Gera is housed in a modern three storey property, accessible by elevator. Driving Directions

From Leipzig Airport (LEJ):
Distance to the pentahotel Gera is 70 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Every 30 minutes, the Airport Express train runs to Leipzig main station, stopping at the site for the Leipzig trade fair. The journey takes about 15 minutes, and the fare is 3.40 EUR for a single ticket. From here, trains run to Gera. A taxi direct to the hotel costs approximately 85 EUR.

Getting around. The best way to get around Gera is by bus or tram, complimentary for hotel guests.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the A9 in the direction of Munich.
At Hermsdorfer Kreuz, take the A4 in the direction of Dresden.
Exit at Gera Langenberg and continue along Siemens Street in the direction of the city centre.
Turn right before the AOK Building into Theater Street.
After the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Joliot Curie Street and look for signs for the hotel.
