The Fair Resort Sport & Wellness Hotel is located on the edge of the famous university town of Jena, adjacent to Thuringian countryside known as Saaleland. The hotel's 112 guestrooms are decorated in light colours with contemporary furniture; all include air conditioning, satellite television and pay movies.
The Fair Restaurant's cuisine is a mix between Thuringian dishes and seasonal international food. The decor has a bright colour scheme with candlelit tables and wooden furniture. Guests can also dine outside in the hotel's Winter Garden. The hotel has a whole host of sporting facilities including a ten pin bowling area with six alleys and a pizzeria where guests can go for lunch, dinner or just snacks such as pasta and salads. Guests also have free access to the hotel's health centre, which includes a large, rectangular indoor pool, a sauna and a gym. Massage and beauty treatments are also available in specially designed facilities. There are also three onsite indoor tennis courts and two badminton courts. The car park has a capacity for 200 cars that can be parked free of charge. The 24 hour front desk has multilingual staff that can assist with recommending day trip destinations and organizing business meetings. Visitors need not go far to experience the beauty of the Thuringian countryside as the hotel is already on the outskirts of the town and is adjacent to land that is ideal for walking. However, Jena is just five kilometres from the hotel and is famous for once being home to enlightenment philosophers such as Kant. There is also a museum dedicated to the writer Schiller, seven kilometres from the hotel. Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, is 45 kilometres from the hotel. Erfurt Airport is 45 kilometres (28 miles) from the hotel.

Driving Directions

Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. Alternatively, there is an airport bus that connects to the underground system, as well as tram connections. Jena Paradies, the nearest railway station to the hotel, is 5 kilometres from the hotel.
Driving directions from the airport: Leave the motorway A4 at Jena Lobeda. Follow the road signs to the Fair Resort. After 2 kilometres, you will reach the hotel.
