The Achat Hotel Zwickau is a modern hotel located two kilometres from the centre of Zwickau, birthplace of Horch, Audi, DKW and Trabant cars. The 206 guestrooms over four floors have light décor with contemporary wood furniture, blue patterned drapes and carpets. All have cable TV, direct dial phones, Internet access, minibars and clock radios.

The nearest train station is six kilometres from the hotel and the nearest bus stop is 100 metres away on the Leipziger Strasse. Leipzig Airport is an approximate 90 minutes drive at a distance of 85 kilometres. The Airport can be reached by the Flughafen Express train. Trains run every 30 minutes between Leipzig Central Station and the Airport. Travel time, including a stop at the new Trade Fair site, is 14 minutes. Cost is €3.20 one way. Trains and buses regularly run from Leipzig to Zwickau the journey takes around 90 minutes and tickets are €12.

Driving Directions

By car from the airport take A9 towards Nürnberg. Take the A4 towards Chemnitz, and take the Zwickau exit. Take the direction of Crimmitschau and at the next traffic lights turn right onto Leipziger Strasse. The hotel is on the right.
