Location. The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa stands along 40 oceanfront acres on Kaanapali Beach in Kaanapali, Hawaii. Kapalua West Maui Airport is located four miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Six restaurants and lounges afford views of the hotel's landscaped acres where ponds are inhabited with swans, flamingos, cranes and koi. Buffet style breakfasts are offered at Swan Court that overlooks waterfalls and rock gardens. Cascades Grill & Sushi Bar serves made to order sushi, fish and steaks, while Spat's Trattoria showcases Italian cuisine. After dinner entertainment includes the Drums of the Pacific Luau. The hotel houses two ocean view freeform pools, a 150 foot enclosed waterslide, a secret swim up underwater cave and a grotto bar. A separate children's activity area features a pool surrounded by sand and a 25 foot slide. Spa treatments are available at Spa Moana, where traditional lomi lomi and Hawaiian hot stone massages can be requested. A 24 hour, complimentary fitness center houses cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and schedules tai chi, Pilates, yoga and water aerobics classes. The Camp Hyatt program offers a supervised children's program that teaches hula dancing and lei making. Children can also participate in a supervised cruise aboard an authentic outrigger canoe.

Guestrooms. The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa offers 806 guestrooms distributed among three nine story buildings. Décor includes Hawaiian tapestries, fresh flowers and rattan furniture. Soft earth tones accent dark wood furnishings. Hyatt Grand Beds are dressed with pillowtop mattresses, five pillows, light weight down comforters and 250 thread count sheets. Sliding doors open onto furnished balconies with mountain, golf course or ocean views. Rooms feature refrigerators and minibars. Complimentary laptop compatible in room safes are provided. Cable television and MP3 adaptors are included. High speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee.
