Location. The Royal Lahaina Resort located in Kaanapali, Hawaii, occupies 27 acres of tropically landscaped gardens. Whalers Village, positioned one quarter mile from the hotel, presents educational programs that introduce newcomers to Hawaiian culture and marine life.
Hotel Features. The dark wood lobby of the Royal Lahaina Resort features frescoed ceilings, mirrored columns and Maui murals. A Polynesian luau, scheduled most nights, is popular among guests and Maui residents. The Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant hosts live entertainment during dinner hours. Basil Tomatoes serves dinners, while the Royal Scoop and Internet Café is open all day and specializes in light fare and ice cream. The resort's recreational amenities include three daytime use tennis courts. Ocean side massages are available under a thatched hut that stands adjacent to two outdoor pools.
