Location. The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong stands as a paragon of hotel luxury in one of Hong Kong's premier centers for shopping, sightseeing and the arts. Set in the Wan Chai business district, this waterfront hotel is adjacent to Hong Kong Convention Center & Exhibition Center. Within two kilometers are the department stores and shopping complexes along Causeway Bay.
Hotel Features. The impressionable lobby resembles a vintage luxury ocean liner with granite columns, winding staircases, huge floral arrangements and furnishings reminiscent of the 1930s era. Dining options include Cantonese food served in a garden décor theme with a glass conservatory style ceiling. Grissini serves Italian food for lunch and dinner with fresh breadsticks prepared in a dining area oven. The floor to ceiling wine cellar features hundreds of bottles of Italian wine.

Recreations at the hotel include a health club offering a large heated outdoor pool, two tennis courts, a golf driving range, and a full service spa with body and facial treatments. Other on site amenities include a florist, hairdresser, and photo and mail processing services. Wired and wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee.

Guestrooms. All 549 guestrooms offer views of Victoria Harbour, the garden or pool. The beds are topped with Egyptian cotton and down comforters. Expert Tip. Plateau, the Grand Hyatt's 11th floor health club, offers five fitness studios with cardiovascular and conditioning equipment. The outdoor area of the club offers a 50 meter heated pool, a 400 meter jogging track and two floodlit tennis courts. Two squash courts are available in an adjacent building.

Driving Directions

Grand Hyatt can arrange to meet guests at the exit from aircrafts and escort guests through Customs and Immigration to the waiting hotel limousine. Alternatively, guests can take the Airport Express train to Hong Kong/Central Station, followed by a 5 minute taxi ride to the hotel. Rental cars are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with the area.
