Location. Rama Candidasa Resort & Spa is located on a private beach in the Candidasa district one kilometer from the city center of Karangasem, Indonesia, and four kilometers from Tenganan, a Balinese fortress village.
Hotel Features. Set in a tropical garden landscape, Rama Candidasa Resort & Spa offers an outdoor pool and poolside gazebo between the resort s gardens and the beach. Recreation amenities also include tennis courts, fishing, boating, island excursions, snorkeling, diving, hiking and trekking. The resort also offers submarine sightseeing trips and Balinese dance and cooking classes. Dasa Spa provides Indonesian massage, acupressure massage and other treatments. Garpu Restaurant overlooks the ocean and serves Mediterranean, Italian, Balinese and other international cuisine. The restaurant is open during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours and offers room service during limited hours. The resort also includes a business center, conference rooms, a library, laundry facilities and limousine service. High speed wired and wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. Pets are not permitted in the resort.

Guestrooms. The three story resort s 72 guestrooms (no elevator) include four poster beds with canopies, balconies with ocean or garden views, wood or ceramic tile floors and Balinese décor. Rooms also offer satellite TV with in house movie channels, international direct dial phones, CD and DVD players, minibars, refrigerators and complimentary bottled water.

Expert Tip. Tenganan, an ancient fortress village built in the 11th century, is enclosed in a stone wall with four gates. Laid out in the symmetrical Bali Aga style, the village includes stone roads, a number of identical homes, and wandering Balinese buffalo. While village residents retain their pre Hindu customs and traditional lifestyle, visitors are welcome.
