Location. Tucked into five acres of tropical gardens, Segara Village Hotel is a beachfront property in Sanur, Indonesia, one kilometer from Mauer Museum and three kilometers from Denpasar and Benoa Harbor.
Hotel Features. Designed in the style of a Balinese village, Segara Village Hotel offers three swimming pools, one located on the beachfront. Additional recreation amenities include massage and other spa services, billiards tables and tennis courts. Guests also have discounted access to a nearby fitness center. The Beach, the resort restaurant, is located near the beachfront pool and serves international and Asian cuisine in both indoor and outdoor settings. Room service is available during limited hours, and complimentary buffet breakfasts are offered daily. Beach Lounge and Bar is open seasonally and serves cocktails and tropical fruit drinks. Jacuzzi Bar is a spa tub bar that offers cocktails and beer. The resort also includes a library, and Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. Parking is complimentary. Pets are not permitted in the resort.

Guestrooms. The single story resort's 100 guestrooms include bedding with thick mattresses and cotton comforters and dark finish furnishings with colorful fabrics. Amenities include complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea makers, minibars, refrigerators, desks and direct dial phones. All rooms offer furnished balconies and are air conditioned.

Expert Tip. Ubud is Bali's art center. Originally an art colony established by a German artist in the late 1920s, it now includes art museums and galleries of both contemporary and traditional art. Ubud is off the beaten path, but includes a number of restaurants and activities, such as nightly traditional Balinese dance shows.
