| Renvyle House is located on the unspoilt coast of Connemara, nestling between the mountains and the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It is surrounded by some 200 acres of farm, lake and walking lands. It nestles between the Twelve Bens and The Atlantic Ocean protected by Inishbofin, Inisturk, Clare Islands. Its former owner, Oliver St. John Gogarty, through his literary fame attracted many distinguished guests such as William Butler Yeats, Augustus John Winston Churchill. Renvyle House is a house of immense character and history with fine fare in our award winning restuarant, an extensive wine list and dozens of open fires making it an ideal base for your holiday. Renvyle House is unique on the West Coast by virtue of the number of facilities which we offer on site, free, to our guests including Golf, Hill Walking, Swimming Pool, All Weather Tennis Courts, Trout Fishing, Cycling, Croquet, Boating and Lawn Bowls. we also have our own riding stables on the grounds of the hotel. From Dublin Airport Dublin to Enfield follow the N6 and in Enfield take the N4 to Galway City - following on the outskirts of Galway City branch onto the N59. This will take you through Moycullen, Oughterard, Straight through Maam Cross onto the T junction at Recess where you turn right (branching off the N59). At the end of this road turn left, along past Kylemore Abbey into Letterfrack. Turn right at Letterfrack, veer laft at Tullycross, straight through the village of Tully and into the gates of Renvyle House Hotel. From Shannon Airport Coming out of Shannon Airport get onto the N18 all the way to Galway City and then follow the above directions from Galway City to Renvyle House Hotel. From Knock Airport Coming out of Knock Airport take a left to get to the N5 and follow the N5 all the way to Westport. In Westport branch onto the N59 and follow this main road up to Leenane. At Leenane turn right (staying on the N59) which brings you back along by Killary Fjord, past Kylemore Abbey and onto Letterfrack where as in No. 1 you turn right, veering laft at Tullycross, straight through the village of Tully and into the gates of Renvyle House Hotel.
