Location. Lotamore House is located in Tivoli, Ireland, overlooking Cork Harbour. It is five kilometres from the centre of Cork and 15 kilometres from Blarney Castle. Cork International Airport is nine kilometres away.

Hotel Features. This Georgian country manor house is surrounded by mature trees and gardens, and is full of period features and antique furniture. Amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas, complimentary newspapers, and secure onsite parking facilities.

While Lotamore House does not have its own restaurant, it has a lounge overlooking the gardens with a bar next to an open fire. The bar offers a light snack menu throughout the afternoon and early evening.

The Cork and Kerry region is home to many championship golf courses, and there are also plenty of opportunities for fishing and horse riding in the area.

Guestrooms. Lotamore House's 18 guestrooms are on two floors, and all feature antique Georgian style furnishings. They include complimentary wireless Internet, flatscreen televisions, complimentary bottled water, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries. Tea/coffee making facilities are available on request.

Expert Tip. Cork is one of the strongholds of Gaelic sports, and its hurling team has won more titles than any other. You can watch a game at Pairc Ui Chaoimh or Pairc Ui Rinn.

Driving Directions

From Cork International Airport (ORK):
Distance to Lotamore House is 9 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A frequent bus service runs between the airport and Parnell Place station in central Cork. A single fare costs 3.70 EUR. A taxi rank is located outside the airport, and fares are about 20 EUR to Lotamore Hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Much of Cork can be explored on foot. Bus Eireann run 19 routes around the city and the surrounding areas. A car is recommended for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Driving directions. From Cork Airport head onto the N27 towards Farmer's Cross.
Follow the N27 to Kinsale roundabout and take the fourth exit onto the South Ring Road, then follow this road for 6 kilometres.
Drive through Jack Lynch Tunnel and then left onto the N25.
Take the first exit at the roundabout onto the dual carriageway.
After 1.5 kilometres you will see the Silver Springs Hotel on your right, at which point you should take a left onto the flyover.
Turn right at the lights, right again past Silver Springs, and back onto the dual carriageway.
Drive for 1 kilometre and you will find the entrance to Lotamore House on your left.
