Originally part of the legendary Irish cavalry commander Patrick Sarsfield's estate, the Lucan Spa Hotel is a historic country house hotel with a copper clock tower, situated in a peaceful location, 11 kilometres from the centre of Dublin. This three floor hotel features 70 traditionally decorated guestrooms with coordinated fabrics and wooden furnishings. All include satellite television, wireless Internet connections, direct dial phones and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are equipped with shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can start their day with a traditional Irish cooked breakfast before exploring the local area. In the evening, guests can relax in front of the fireplace in the lobby, enjoy a drink in the traditional bar or unwind on the patio. Driving Directions
Taxis and hire cars are available at the airport. Buses also run from the airport and stop outside the hotel. Dublin can be explored on foot or by car and has a comprehensive bus network. There are also a number of bus and walking tours available.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the second exit at the first roundabout, heading onto the M1 (signposted Dublin). Leave the M1 at Junction 3 then take the third exit at the roundabout onto the M50 (South). Leave the M50 at Junction 7 (signposted Dublin, Sligo N4). At the roundabout take the third exit onto the N4 (West) and continue until the hotel is visible on the left hand side.
