Property Information

Location. The Sporting Hotel is located five kilometres from the seaside town of Ancona, Italy, less than 100 metres from the marina. Portonovo Beach is 15 kilometres away, and it is 20 kilometres to the Loreto Sanctuary.
Hotel Features. A distinctive resort style hotel which resembles an ocean liner, the Hotel Sporting has a cheerful yellow exterior. Banqueting facilities are available for special occasions. A laundry service is also provided, and wireless Internet access is available in public areas.

A complimentary continental breakfast is served in the Hotel Sporting's restaurant, La Taverna, which specialises in Italian cooking, and there is also a bar.

Two rooms are available for business events: the conference hall seats up to 250 people, and the meeting room seats up to 20. There is a dedicated parking facility reserved for guests attending business events.

Guestrooms. The 99 air conditioned guestrooms have tiled floors and are decorated in a neutral colour scheme with matching curtains and bedspreads. Amenities include satellite television, and minibars. Complimentary newspapers are also provided.

Getting there. A taxi is likely to cost around 30 EUR. This price is subject to change. The hotel also offers an airport transfer service for a surcharge.

Getting around. There is a train station two kilometres from the Hotel Sporting which offers connections to nearby towns as well as further afield. A bus service operates into the centre of town, and it is possible to stroll along the seafront direct from the hotel. However, a car may be useful for exploring attractions outside the town.
