Location. The Apogia Sirio is located in Mestre, Italy, 300 metres from the town centre. Venice is 10 kilometres away and the Brenta Riviera is 15 kilometres away. The hotel is seven kilometres from Venice Marco Polo airport.
Hotel Features. A terracotta coloured eight storey hotel designed in a contemporary style, the Apogia Sirio has wireless Internet access in public areas and offers limited hours room service, free parking and a dry cleaning service.

The Hotel Sirio serves a complimentary American buffet style breakfast. Lunch and dinner are also served in the hotel restaurant. Dishes are mostly Venetian and served buffet style.

There is a business centre with a conference room and meeting rooms for small groups.

Guestrooms. The 103 air conditioned guestrooms light modern decor with coordinating bedspreads and curtains. Rooms include complimentary newspapers and bottled water, satellite television and wireless Internet access. All have private bathrooms.

Expert Tip. As an important trade route, the Brenta River attracted great wealth. Beautiful villas were built along the length of the river and some are open to the public today. The Villa Pisani and Villa Foscari are two of the most impressive.

Driving Directions

From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
Distance to Apogia Sirio is 7 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 9 bus connects directly from the airport to the hotel. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. Alternatively, a taxi will cost approximately 25 EUR.

Getting around. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
