Location. The Nexus Resort Karambunai is located on the northwest coast of Borneo, 30 kilometers from Kota Kinabalu City in Malaysia. The resort stretches along 3,335 acres on the Karambunai Peninsula.
Hotel Features. This resort rests within natural and landscaped surroundings where Karambunai Beach unites with the South China Sea. Eight restaurants and bars serve Malaysian, Mediterranean, Asian and international dishes. Splashes Pool Bar specializes in margaritas served poolside, while Darlin' Darlin' Entertainment Club hosts live bands and DJ performances. Function space includes 11 rooms including a grand ballroom that accommodates up to 1,500 people. Recreational amenities feature three freeform outdoor pools and a spa tub. A fitness center offers cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and the services of personal trainers. Guestrooms. The resort offers 485 guestrooms with furnished balconies overlooking the South China Sea or the manicured golf course and million year old rainforest. Rooms include electronic in room safes and bedside light and alarm panels. Coffeemakers are provided. Modern bathrooms contain slippers and cotton kimonos known as yukata.

Expert Tip. Located near the resort on the edge of Karambuani Peninsula, Lagoon Park is a water sport recreation area that offers water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, river cruises and sport fishing.
