Located along an idyllic stretch of private beach amidst 38 acres of lush tropical surroundings, the Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort provides holiday accommodations on the island of Langkawi, off the west coast of Malaysia. Langkawi is blessed with sunny skies, natural white sand beaches, clear emerald waters and ancient rainforests. The hotel is part of a large, beach front community of resorts, restaurants and shops. Attractions near the Sheraton Resort include rainforest treks, Seven Wells Waterfall, Oriental Village, Mahsuri International Exhibition Center, Crocodile Farm and Underwater World.
The Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort offers 238 guestrooms and suites in chalets or two story buildings designed in traditional Malaysian architecture and finished in natural timber. All guestrooms feature full length French doors that open to large private balconies with stunning views of the Andaman Sea. Modern guestroom amenities feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds, in room safes, international direct dial phones and satellite television.

The Sheraton Resort features three restaurants: Captain's Grill serves fresh seafood and steaks by the sea, the Feast Restaurant offers all day dining and Asian or international cuisine. Live entertainment can be found at the Chime, while cocktails are served at the cozy ocean view lobby lounge. Private in room dining is also available.

The Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort is home to the Chavana Spa by Mandara Spa, providing various body treatments and massage therapy. Guests can also enjoy the hotel's infinity pool and fitness facility, both overlooking the Andaman Sea. Children can have fun with the supervised activities at the hotel's Lutong's Kids Club, and the hotel's recreation desk can help guests organize local recreation such as diving classes, island hopping and snorkeling trips. Gala Dinner:
The hotel will host a mandatory New Year's Eve Gala Dinner on December 31, 2008. All guests will be charged for the dinner whether or not they attend. The gala dinner compulsory charge for Christmas Eve is MYR580 + 10% per adult and MYR290 + 10% per child (5 to 12 years). This charge is not included in the room rate and is payable directly to the hotel upon check in.

Driving Directions

From Langkawi International Airport:
The hotel is approximately 4 miles /6 Kilometers (10 minute drive) from the airport located along Nibong Bay. From the airport exit, turn right and drive until the junction. Turn left and follow the main road. Pass traffic lights and drive until you see the signs.
