Location. Located on the fine white sands of the Rivera Maya, the Gran Bahia Principe Coba All Inclusive rests in the tourist resort community of Akumal in Quitana Roo, Mexico. Once the site of several Spanish galleon shipwrecks, Akumal is known for its pristine snorkeling and swimming conditions. Located 15 kilometers from the historic Tulum Ruins, the hotel is 30 kilometers from Playa del Carmen. Cancun Airport sits 100 kilometers away.
Hotel Features. The hotel's main restaurant, Kukulcan, features an international style buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other on site restaurants include El Pescador, a fish a la carte restaurant, and the Mediterraneo a la carte restaurant. Mexican a la carte cuisine is served at El Charro.

Guestrooms. The 1,080 guestrooms at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba All Inclusive are housed in three story villas and feature balconies, complimentary bottled water, satellite television, complimentary toiletries, in room safes, dial up Internet access, for a fee, and minibars.

Expert Tip. Akumal means place of the turtles in the Mayan language, and turtles can be found laying eggs on the beaches at night and swimming in the lagoons during the day.
