Location. The Apollo Museum Hotel is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 100 metres from the Vondelpark, 200 metres from the Rijksmuseum, and 400 metres from the Van Gogh Museum. Amsterdam Central train station is two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. This city hotel occupies a corner building and features scenic views over the designer shopping street, De P.S. Hooft. There is a restaurant, and a bar on site. Complimentary wireless Internet is offered throughout the building. A water taxi leaves directly outside the hotel.

Continental breakfast is available to guests of the Apollo Musuemhotel (surcharge). The SaladaSamba restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals, salads, tapas, and grilled meat dishes such as flaming steaks a la plancha. Coffees and typical Dutch beers are offered at the bar.

Guestrooms. Air conditioned guestrooms have minibars, satellite television, direct dial phones, and complimentary wireless Internet. Driving Directions

From Schipol Airport (AMS):
Distance to Apollo Museumhotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station. Take tram 5 going to Amstelveen Binnenhof or tram 2 towards Nieuwe Sloten. Alight at the 8th stop Hobbemastraat/Rijiksmuseum. The hotel is on the junction of P.S. Hoofstraat, and Atadthouderskade. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis into Amsterdam city centre cost approximately 40 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Amsterdam can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged.

Driving directions. Depart Schiphol Airport.
Follow the A4 motorway towards Zaandam.
Take exit S106.
At the end of this road, turn right.
Pass the roundabout at Surinameplein.
Take the left hand lane across the bridge.
Turn left into Overtoom.
At the end of Overtoom, turn right into Stadhouderskade.
At the third set of lights get in the left hand lane, and take the second street on the right, Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat.
The Apollo Museumhotel Amsterdam City Centre is immediately on the right.
