Location. The modern Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center is located within Amsterdam Schiphol Airport complex, 21 kilometres from central Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The hotel is linked to the arrivals terminal via a 250 metre covered walkway. Adjacent to the World Trade Center, the hotel is within four kilometres of Schiphol Rijk business park. The tulip fields of Bloemenveiling are nine kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The lobby of the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel has neon blue decor and lifts going up through the eight storey atrium. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide currency exchange and information on sightseeing.

Overlooking the airport, Voyager restaurant at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel celebrates the history of air travel, with murals and a giant central globe. It serves international dishes. Runway café/bar offers a wide range of snacks and light meals, just off the lobby. Guests can relax with drinks on the black leather sofas of the Boomerang Bar, which serves snacks like hamburgers, sushi and pastries. The 24 hour lounge in the atrium has a central water feature which gives it its name, Cascade. The hotel also offers 24 hour room service.

Getting there. The Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center is situated within the airport complex, linked to the arrivals terminal via a 250 metre covered walkway.

Getting around. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis into Amsterdam city centre cost approximately 40 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Amsterdam can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged.
