The Horizon Casino Resort, located adjacent to the Edgewood Golf Course, offers a low key gaming atmosphere in scenic Lake Tahoe, Nev. The resort is two blocks from Heavenly Mountain Resort and features a lobby with stunning photography of the mountains and valleys that grace Lake Tahoe.
The Horizon Casino Resort's 24 hour, 40,000 square foot casino boasts live music, dancing and a long running female impersonator cabaret show. The hotel also offers a large heated pool, three spa tubs and a 24 hour fitness center. Eight movie theaters show current releases and bargain matinees daily. Couples can engage the services of wedding planners, who can organize nuptials at the hotel's wedding chapel or on a local mountaintop. Should corporate matters draw guests to Lake Tahoe, the hotel provides 13,000 square feet of meeting and reception space, with Internet access available for an additional fee. Guests can enjoy fine dining at Josh's, known for featured entrees such as Hazelnut Crusted Sea Bass and Ribeye with Three Peppercorn Sauce. Driving Directions
From Reno Tahoe International Airport:
Take Hwy. 395 South toward Carson City for 25 miles.
Go through Carson City to Hwy. 50 West for 30 miles.
Proceed up into the mountains to South Lake Tahoe.
