Location. The Neptun Hotel is located in the historic area of central Bergen, Norway, within 100 metres of the Fish Market and the Vagen Harbour area. Bergen Aquarium is 500 metres away and the Bergen train station is one kilometre away.
Hotel Features. The Neptun Hotel features one of Bergen's largest collections of modern art. The hotel has an artistically decorated parking garage and guests have the choice of a formal restaurant or informal bistro for dining.

The Neptun Hotel has two restaurants. On the first floor is the gourmet restaurant Lucullus, serving classic French dishes. The informal, continental style bistro Pascal Mat & Vin is situated on the ground floor and serves a la carte dishes and snacks. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning.

A modern conference area with five conference rooms decorated in bright, Nordic colours and materials is located on the hotel's first floor. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. Hotel Neptun offers 124 classically designed guestrooms with individual furnishings and Nordic style materials. Amenities include satellite television, wireless Internet access, and minibars.

Driving Directions

From Bergen Flesland Airport (BGO):
Distance to the Neptune Hotel is 22 kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Flybusses runs frequently between the airport and Bergen city centre. Fare for a single journey is 72 NOK. If travelling further than into Bergen, where the bus stops, you can ask for a changeover ticket (Overgangs billet). Visitors can then travel further for the same price within a certain time period. Taxis wait outside the airport and cost about 300 NOK for to Neptun Hotel. Prices are higher at night. Journey time is approximately 25 minutes.

Getting around. Bergen city centre is compact and most sights can be easily reached by walking. Hiring a bicycle is a popular way of seeing the city. The city centre has an extensive bus network in operation. Buses, trains, and boats connect the city with the outer lying region.
