The Hotel Carlton Oslo is located half a kilometre from the city's commercial centre and 1.5 kilometres from Oslo Old Castle and Museum. The hotel's 50 guestrooms have a brown and beige colour scheme and Chesterfield style furniture and wrought iron wall lamps; all include air conditioning, satellite television and wireless Internet. Some rooms on the top floor of the hotel have balconies.

Driving Directions

The airport express train takes 20 minutes to the station, Nathionalte ateret. The hotel is 600 metres from the hotel. Alternatively, taxis are readily available and cost NOK 500 900 to city centre. Bus and coach services also provide connections to many destinations in and around Oslo. Buses and trams provide transport to the main tourist attractions.
Driving directions from Gardermoem Airport: Take the highway to Oslo, approx. 48 km. Follow the highway to Drammen and take the road number E18. Drive along E 18 to Drammen until you see the Harbour (Cargo) on the left. There you see a white sign with Hotels. Turn at the sign for Bygdøy. When you have the exited the E 18, follow the street "Bygdøy Alle" until it ends. Then you will come to Solli Plass, and you will see the National museum. Drive down the street "Observatire gata", until it ends, and turn right. There you will find Hotel Carlton.
