The Gourmet Walk, the hotel s restaurant row, includes six restaurants serving a range of cuisine from Cantonese and Sichuanese to Italian, Japanese and Filipino dishes. Expert Tip. Roughly 500 years ago, explorer Ferdinand Magellan erected a large Christian cross to celebrate the baptism of an island chief. The relic is said to be housed in a small chapel across the street from Cebu City Hall, encased in a larger wood cross to protect it from souvenir and relic hunters. While the true location of the original cross has been debated, the destination remains a very popular tourist attraction.
