The Costa D'Oiro is a modern hotel consisting of three private villas set in gardens and grouped around outdoor swimming pools, less than two kilometers from Lagos town center. Air conditioned guestrooms feature colorful Mediterranean décor with tiled floors; all have terraces or balconies overlooking the garden and include, free dial up Internet connections, cable television and minibars. Bathrooms feature designer toiletries and hair dryers.
Guests can relax on sun loungers or under hired parasols on the terraces around the large outdoor swimming pools, swim laps of the heated indoor pool and enjoy drinks and cocktails from the bar. Children are catered for with their own, separate pool. High speed Internet access is available in the lobby area. Buffet breakfasts are served out on the terrace, while the colorful restaurant offers Portuguese specialties at lunch and dinner and the hotel frequently hosts barbeques. The hotel also has a private mini van, which can be hired for on request tours of the region's attractions. The two nearest beaches are 800 meters away, while the closest major beach is Meia Praia, three kilometers from the hotel, where visitors will find facilities for a range of water sports including windsurfing and water skiing. Busy Lagos town center, 1.5 kilometers away, is also well worth a visit for its old city walls and museum. The nearest international airport is Faro, which is 70 kilometers away, a drive of around 45 minutes. Trains run between Faro airport and Lagos railway station, which is approximately three kilometers from the hotel. Guests will find taxis at the station. Buses and taxis are the most reliable method of transport around Lagos, though many of its attractions can also be reached on foot.

Driving Directions

Take the A22 from the airport at exit at Lagos. Turn left at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout Lagos Oeste follow the signs to Lagos center. At the third roundabout follow the signs to Ponta da Piedade/Praia Dona Ana. Take the first left after Hotel Golfinho.
