The Pestana Sintra is a golf resort located in a residential complex, situated three kilometres from the historic town of Sintra. The 137 guestrooms have light decor in shades of yellow, with oak furniture. All rooms open out onto balconies and are equipped with satellite television, high speed Internet connections, direct dial phones and minibars.
Golfers can practise their swing on the onsite 18 hole course, which also offers a pro shop, a driving range and golf lessons. The complex also offers football fields, tennis courts and an equestrian centre. The hotel houses three swimming pools, one indoor, one outdoor and a children's pool. After a day's sightseeing or business, guests can work up a sweat on the fitness equipment and then unwind with a massage and a sauna or relax over drinks in the bar. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves an extensive range of Portuguese and Mediterranean fare in an intimate setting with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The conference centre's seven meeting rooms are equipped with audio visual equipment and are able to accommodate up to 220 people. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can arrange babysitting services, provide room service and offer advice on the hotel and the surrounding area. Motorists will find complimentary parking facilities on site. The Grand Prix circuit of Estoril is two kilometres from the hotel, as is the historic village of Sintra. Guincho beach is seven kilometres away, and the salubrious village of Carcais, renowned for its aristocratic atmosphere and lively nightlife, is eight kilometres from the hotel. Lisbon (Portela) International Airport is 30 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Driving Directions

The Carris AeroBus number 91 departs every 20 minutes to the city centre and to the Cais do Sodré railway station (journey time is about 20 minutes). Tickets can be purchased on board. The hotel also offers an airport transfer service (surcharge). Alternatively, taxis are available and will cost approximately 40 EUR.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the A5 towards Cascais and take the Sintra turning. At the roundabout take the Albaraque exit. The entrance to Pestana Sintra Golf and Beloura Golf is just after the racetrack.
