Location. Apsis Millenni is a grand hotel with classic features and is located in the centre of Barcelona, just 500 metres from Las Ramblas and one kilometre from Placa Catalunya. Barcelona El Prat Airport is 25 kilometres away, a 30 minute drive.
Hotel Features.Relaxation at Apsis Millenni includes a sauna, hot tub and sun terrace overlooking the city, and the gym features cardio vascular equipment, a bicycle and a step machine. Guests can unwind over drinks in the bar, and the concierge can help plan sightseeing excursions. There is also a business centre, wireless Internet access and conference and banqueting facilities for up to 40 people.
Guestrooms. The 46 guestrooms, over seven floors, have modern decor with natural light and wooden flooring. Amenities include balconies, cable television with pay movies, direct dial phones, minibars, safes, wheelchair access, air conditioning, Internet connections (surcharge) and handheld showers.
Expert Tip. Las Ramblas is Barcelona's well known shopping boulevard running through the centre of the old city. As well as shops it is filled with stalls and street performers.
Driving Directions
Getting there. The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Plaça de Catalunya every 12 minutes and costs 3.5 EUR per person. Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals and cost approximately 25 EUR to the hotel. Barcelona's integrated bus and metro system provides a cheap and efficient way of getting around the city.
Driving directions. From the airport follow directions towards the city centre. Drive through Gran Via until Plaza Espana, then turn right onto Ronda de Sant Pau.
