The Scandic Södertälje is a modern hotel located at the intersection of the E4 and E20 motorways, three kilometres from the town centre and 30 kilometres from Stockholm. This six floor hotel features 131 modern guestrooms, all of which include televisions, clock radios, desks, and bathrooms with hair dryers and tubs or showers.
After a day's sightseeing guests can unwind in the sauna or enjoy a relaxing dip in the indoor pool. Kids can play table tennis and are kept occupied with games and puzzles in the playroom adjacent to the restaurant. Restaurant Charlotta serves traditional Swedish dishes with international influences. Vegetarian and children's menus are available, and a special dining room is available for groups of 25 to 50 people. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a lobby bar serving a range of drinks including coffees and beers, as well as light meals and sandwiches; the bar features a large screen TV which shows major sporting events and is open until 1 AM. There are six meeting rooms and guests with their own vehicles will appreciate free parking for up to 60 cars. Guests who wish to explore the area can visit Stockholm, 30 kilometres away, home to numerous museums, galleries, sh ops and restaurants. Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is 70 kilometres from the hotel, around 60 minutes by car.

Driving Directions

The airport has three railway stations: one for long distance destinations and two for frequent express trains to Stockholm, from where onward transport to Södertälje is available. Taxis run from directly outside the terminals. When taking a taxi, passengers should speak to a taxi coordinator, found outside the terminal building. There are also bus stations outside terminals 2, 4 and 5.
