Location. The Hotel Bern is located in the capital city of Bern, Switzerland, next to the 13th century French church and 50 metres from the High Baroque architecture of the Kornhaus. Bern's main train station is 300 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in an Art Nouveau building in the old town centre, this modern hotel has five floors accessible by lift. In the contemporary designed lobby, multilingual staff operate a 24 hour front desk. A top floor terrace with lush greenery provides views over the city's rooftops. The hotel provides a currency exchange facility.

Getting there. White airport buses run to Bern's central railway station, and departure times coincide with flight arrivals. The journey time is around 20 minutes and single tickets cost 14 CHF. Taxis wait outside arrivals and cost about 40 CHF 60 CHF to the city centre. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Bern city centre is compact and best explored on foot. The city is served by an efficient public transport system of buses and trams. Daily BernCards can be purchased for unlimited travel. Horse drawn carriages can be found in the city's central square.
