Location. The Hotel President Wilson is located in Geneva, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva, one kilometre from Geneva Cathedral and two kilometres from the banks, shopping areas and the United Nations headquarters. Geneva Airport is seven kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Hotel President Wilson features a spa with white furniture and retro vinyl lamps, and offers an outdoor saltwater pool in the gardens, sauna, steam room, massage treatments, and a 24 hour fitness facility. The air conditioned lobby has 24 hour front desk with currency exchange and safe deposit box. Wireless Internet is available throughout. Valetted garage parking and limousine services are offered.

There are several dining and drinking options at the Hotel President Wilson. The Arabesque Restaurant serves Lebanese mezzes, grills and sweetmeats. Spice's offers a new take on Chinese and Asian dishes, overlooking the lake. The Flower's Bar in black marble serves drinks including aged cognacs and whiskeys, infused tequilas and grand cru champagnes.

There are 12 conference rooms, five with natural light, all soundproofed with audiovisual presentation technology and wireless Internet. A 24 hour business centre offers secretarial services.

Guestrooms. The 175 air conditioned guestrooms at Hotel President Wilson are individually decorated with rich coloured patterned fabrics, dark wood furniture and modern fittings with traditional feel. Expert Tip. The Palais des Nations was built in the 1920's as a home for the League of Nations and now houses the United Nations in Ariana Park, bequeathed to Geneva by the Revilliod de Rive family on condition that peacocks be allowed to freely roam the grounds. Driving Directions

From Geneva International Airport (GVA):
Distance to Hotel President Wilson is 7 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The airport's train station is a 300 metre walk from the Arrivals and Departures floors. Trains link to destinations across Switzerland. All trains stop at the central Geneva Cornavin station, one kilometre from the hotel, and departures are approximately every 20 minutes. Single tickets cost 5 CHF. Bus number 10 runs every 10 minutes to the city centre. Bus number 18 runs every 30 minutes to the United Nations building. Single tickets cost 2.20 CHF. Taxis wait in the terminal forecourt and cost about 40 CHF to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Geneva is served by an excellent tram and bus network. Tickets must be purchased in advance from vending machines, and validated prior to boarding. One day passes are available, offering unlimited travel on trains, trams, buses and 'mouette' water taxis.

Driving directions. From Geneva Airport, take the A1 highway and leave at Exit 'Geneva Lake'.
Turn left after the third traffic lights and drive along the shores of the lake.
