Property Information

The Hotel Alpenhof is a traditional Alpine hotel set on the edge of Grindelwald's slopes, 300 metres from the centre of the village. Guestrooms open onto balconies and feature traditional Alpine decor and furnishings. All are equipped with Internet connections, minibars and televisions.
After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the hotel's sauna and outdoor hot tub. Those wishing to catch up on e mails or surf the web can take advantage of the hotel's high speed wireless Internet access. Motorists will find complimentary parking facilities on site. The Grindelwald ski area features 44 ski lifts and over 200 kilometres of trails and pistes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Interlaken, with its slopes, shops, restaurants and vibrant nightlife, is 20 kilometres from the hotel. Zurich Airport is 150 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 150 minutes.

Driving Directions

The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B, with trains to central Zurich and many city and tourist destinations across Switzerland. Taxis can be found outside terminals A and B; fare to city centre is approximately 50 CHF (35 EUR). The bus terminal is located adjacent to car park B; ten regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages.
