Location. The Hotel Saratz is located in Pontresina, Switzerland, six kilometres from St Moritz, eight kilometres from the Roseg Glacier, and 10 kilometres from the Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski runs.

Hotel Features. Originally opened in 1875, the Hotel Saratz combines 19th century and modern decor. The lobby has bare white walls and an open fire set in a stone hearth, while cornices, chandeliers, and cane furniture feature in the salon. Multilingual staff at the hotel's 24 hour front desk greet guests on arrival, and a concierge desk is available. The wellness centre includes a spa, sauna, gymnasium, and an indoor pool. Guests have complimentary access to the tennis court, playground, and putting green, as well as the extensive gardens. Childcare is provided for children aged 3 9 years, and teenagers have access to gaming equipment and movies.

The Art Nouveau Restaurant at the Hotel Saratz is decorated in a 19th century style and specialises in Mediterranean and Engadine dishes. Designed by Swiss artist Luginbuhl, The Pitschna Scena restaurant is fitted with wood panelling and hosts weekly live music. A breakfast buffet is offered.

From Zurich Airport (ZRH):
Distance to Hotel Saratz is 200 kilometres, approximately 2 hours 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A train service runs from Zurich Airport to Chur station. From Chur, take the train to Pontresina station, and from here the Hotel Saratz provides a complimentary transfer to the hotel.

Getting around. Switzerland's public transport system includes trams, buses, and the Rhaetian railway. Ski lifts operate on nearby ski mountains. A hire car is recommended for exploring further afield.
