This three story structure is less than one kilometer from Grossmunster Cathedral and Fraumunster Church. The Swiss National Museum, Zurich Zoo and Rietberg Museum are two kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Claridge Swiss Q Hotel lobby promotes a Feng Shui environment through use of color design, water fountains and unfettered spaces. Orson's restaurant serves Euro Asian cuisine. The hotel's cocktail lounge, Zuri Stube, provides Swiss cuisine and cocktails. Complimentary breakfasts are served daily. The hotel offers high speed Internet access in public areas. Guestrooms. The 35 guestrooms of the Claridge Swiss Q Hotel remain consistent with the Louis XV décor. Rooms feature saffron and caramel colored patterned carpets, complimentary window dressings and glass chandeliers. From Zurich Airport:
Approximate distance to the hotel is 10 kilometers.
The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B, with trains to central Zurich and many city and tourist destinations across Switzerland. Taxis can be found outside terminals A and B; fare to city centre is approximately 50 CHF (35 EUR). The bus terminal is located adjacent to car park B; ten regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages. The hotel is in the city centre and many attractions can be reached on foot. Zurich is easy to navigate using a modern, user friendly network of trans and buses operating from 5:30 a.m. to midnight. Tickets must be bought before boarding and validated immediately. A travel pass, the Tageskarte, is valid on all buses and trams for 24 hours. Taxis can be hailed in the street but are expensive. Getting around by car is not recommended due to congestion and expensive car parking.
