Location. The Golden Tulip Dar Es Salaam is located on the Msasani Peninsula, Tanzania, and extends to a white sandy beach. It is four kilometres from Dar Es Salaam city centre, and the botanical gardens.
Hotel Features. This luxury hotel with its magnificent lobby and Arabic influenced architecture is located on the edge of the Indian Ocean. There is an infinity pool with waterfall, and beauty and massage treatments are available. Fitness equipment is provided. The Sanaa Restaurant serves a fusion of Mediterranean and oriental cuisine from an a la carte menu. The Maasai Bar and Grill is located on the oceanfront and serves speciality seafood. Expert Tip. Old Boma is Dar Es Salaam's oldest surviving building, constructed in 1867. It was built to accommodate the guests of Sultan Seyyid Majid who had a palace located next door, and features coral walls and a door from Zanzibar

Distance to Golden Tulip Dar Es Salaam is 18 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. City buses are easily accessed from the airport, with stops located 500 metres from the terminal. Airport taxis are available to any destination in the city. Travelers are advised to negotiate a price before setting off, as taxis are not metered. A taxi fare to the hotel is 25 USD. The hotel offers airport transfer for a surcharge.

Getting around. Dar Es Salaam has a city bus system. The easiest and most reliable ways of transport are taxis or hire cars.
