The Harbor House overlooks Galveston Bay and is adjacent to The Strand, a historic district filled with boutiques, antique shops and galleries. The Great Storm Theatre and Texas Seaport Museum are on the same block as the hotel. The Galveston Seawall is three miles away and Moody Gardens are seven miles from the property.
Standing today on Galveston's Pier 21, the hotel was an early steamship terminal and still runs a slip marina on the property, lending itself to modern day portside ship watching and docking. Continental breakfasts are complimentary. Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel and meeting spaces accommodate up to 200 guests.
