The Hotel Riviera on Podol is located in Kiev, Ukraine, by the River Dnieper in the lower Podol district of Kiev, next door to funiculars that connect to the elevated districts of the city, and 500 metres from Independence Square and St Michael's Cathedral. The nearest metro station is 200 metres away.

Expert Tip. The golden domed St Michael's Cathedral was originally completed in the 12th century but demolished by the Soviets. The cathedral was rebuilt and reopened in 1999 with copies of its original mosaics and frescoes. The Cathedral still has a functioning monastery.

Driving Directions

From Boryspil International Airport (KBP):
Distance to Riviera on Podol is 40 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The hotel provides airport shuttle transfer on request, for a surcharge. Regular bus services connect the airport to Kharkivska metro station and the central railway station. Boryspilska metro stop is closest to the airport. Poshtova Square metro station is 200 metres from the hotel.

Getting around. Kiev has a metro system connecting most of the city, and there are also extensive bus and taxi services.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs to Kiev city centre and turn onto Khreschatik Street.
Turn left and continue on Volodimirs'ki Street until reaching Poshtova Square.
There turn right onto the riverbank and Sagaydachnogo Street where the hotel is found.
