Location. The Sheraton Khalidiya is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, one kilometre from the Gold Souk. The Old Port is four kilometres away and the beaches of the Corniche are five kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Sheraton Khalidiya is an 18 storey modern hotel set overlooking the Arabian Gulf, with panoramic views over Abu Dhabi. The onsite health club features a rooftop pool with sundeck and offers a steam room, sauna, massage treatment room and beauty services. A children's pool is also available. Other amenities include 24 hour room service, express check in/out and valet parking(surcharge).

The Sheraton Khalidiya's relaxed, informal Downtown Cafe offers an a la carte menu and is open around the clock. The contemporary La Veranda restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers an international buffet and an a la carte menu.

The Sheraton Khalidiya houses a business centre and meeting rooms and offers public Internet access (surcharge).

Guestrooms. The Sheraton Khalidiya's 240 guestrooms and suites are spread over 18 floors. All are decorated in soft pastel colours and offer contemporary furniture. Amenities offered include satellite television, wireless Internet, coffee/teamakers, minibars and safes. Bathrooms come complete with separate baths and showers, robes scales and telephones.

Expert Tip. To get a sense of what Abu Dhabi used to be like before oil affected the country's economy and social structures, head to the cultural village at the International Exhibition Centre on Mussafah Road. This authentic replica of a Bedouin encampment stages performances of national dances and songs on weekends and holidays.

Renovation notice:

Driving Directions

From Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH):
Distance to Sheraton Khalidiya is 35 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis wait in front of arrivals and cost 20 USD 25 USD to the hotel. Green and white buses run between the airport and Abu Dhabi's City Bus Terminal every 30 45 minutes. These buses are available 24 hours a day, and single tickets cost 1 USD. Alternatively, the hotel can arrange airport transfers on request (surcharge). Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Taxis offer a cheap, efficient way to explore Abu Dhabi. Shared taxis are available, and the city is served by a network of public buses. A car is recommended for exploring the surrounding area.

Driving directions. From Abu Dhabi Airport, follow signs to Abu Dhabi City and Maqta Bridge.
Stay on the Airport Road until the Etisalat traffic lights.
Turn left onto Zayed the 1st Street.
The hotel is located at the third set of lights on the right hand side.
