The turn of the century building, Thistle Aberdeen Caledonian, is located in Aberdeen city center. Overlooking Union Terrace Gardens, the hotel is set 400 meters from the train station. The 77 guestrooms have a colorful contemporary decor in color coordinated shades of blues and yellows, with light wood furnishings. All rooms are complete with ensuite bathrooms, cable television, premium channels, coffee/tea making facilities, hair dryer and housekeeping services.
After breakfast the concierge and staff at front desk are on hand to help guests explore all that the area has to offer. Business guests can make use of the four meeting rooms, the largest of which seats 30 theater style. The Cafe Bar Caley offers drinks, snacks and meals throughout the day, and in the evening guests can dine alfresco at the Terrace Restaurant, enjoying international and traditional Scottish cuisine. Located in Aberdeen city center, the hotel is within easy walking distance of many attractions; guests can visit the art gallery, 200 meters away; see the Maritime Museum, 800 meters away; or play a round of golf, one mile away. The hotel also has excellent transport links, located 400 meters from the train station, one mile from the car ferry, and seven miles from Aberdeen Airport.

Driving Directions

Taxis depart from a taxi rank outside the airport terminal building. Bus services operate from the airport to Aberdeen city center. The nearest train station is Dyce, where trains depart for Aberdeen and Inverness.
If driving from Aberdeen airport, follow the A92 Dundee/Perth road, continue until a roundabout with signs for B9119 city center exit. Head for the city center and the hotel is located half way down the main thoroughfare.
