Located just three miles from Stansted Airport on the outskirts of the Essex village of Birchanger, the modern Stansted Manor Hotel is set on eight acres of parkland, away from the noise of the flight path. The hotel's 70 bedrooms are simply decorated and all have satellite television with pay movie channels, DVD players, coffee and tea making facilities and en suite bathrooms with bathtubs.
Guests can enjoy an array of amenities including the 24 hour desk, conference room and banquet facilities. The Wyndhams Restaurant and Bar serves British and European dishes and tired travelers will appreciate the 24 hour room service. The hotel can organize airport transfers (fee), although a car is recommended for exploring the picturesque countryside of Essex and Suffolk.

Driving directions from Stansted Airport: Take the M11 and exit at junction 8.Take the A120 signposted for Bishop Stortford/Birchanger. At the next large roundabout, turn right (signposted Birchanger) and get into the Birchanger lane. The Best Western Stansted Manor Hotel is currently signposted 200 yards along Birchanger Lane.
