Location. The New Steine Guest House is a boutique hotel located in the bohemian Kemptown area of Brighton, England, 100 metres from the seafront and within 0.5 miles from Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, and the city centre. Brighton Station is one mile away.

Hotel Features. This five storey Georgian townhouse has been refurbished to combine original period detail with chic, French influenced contemporary design. Original artworks adorn the walls of the bistro lounge, where guests can unwind and browse magazines and daily newspapers. Complimentary wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel, and, alongside multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk, a personalised concierge service is on hand at all hours to make bookings and suggest venues to make the most of Brighton's renowned nightlife. Expert Tip. At the top of the New Steine is St James Street, the colourful thoroughfare of Brighton's gay district. Regeneration has seen a wealth of smart shops and chic eateries appear, alongside tantalising remnants of the city's attractively colourful reputation.

Driving Directions

From London Gatwick Airport (LGW):
Distance to The New Steine Guest House is 29 miles, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Regular direct regional train services run from Gatwick to Brighton Station, which is one mile from the hotel and well served by taxis and buses. A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 35 GBP. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. Kemptown, the seafront, and the central area of Brighton are all comfortably explored on foot. Local bus services are numerous and regular, and taxis can be hailed in the street.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the M23 towards Brighton. This becomes the A23 and leads directly into the city centre, ending opposite Brighton Pier. Turn left on to Marine Parade and New Steine is the eighth turning on the left. The hotel is located in the top left hand corner of the square.
